Pois contigo há misericórdiaFor there is mercy with Thee
Por isso serás temidoTherefore shalt thou be feared

Eu busco o Senhor, minha alma espera por eleI look for the Lord, my soul doth wait for him
Na sua palavra está minha confiançaIn his word is my trust
Minha alma se apressa para o SenhorMy soul fleeth unto the Lord

Ó Israel, confie no SenhorO Israel, trust in the Lord
Pois com o Senhor há misericórdiaFor with the Lord there is mercy
