A Note From Mr. God
I was so down
Just hanging around
Wondering what to do
When suddenly I was surprised from out of the blue
The birds sang their song as I walked along
I suddenly felt quite odd
'Cos out of the sky fell a note from Mr God
And it said
You got the blues but you can shake it
If you have faith you can make it
You have a chance
You must take it while you can
Don't give up hope
Never lose it
You got a choice but you must choose it
And that's what it said on this note from Mr God
Ah ba la la etc
Yeah this is a song about this man who's walking down
The street and he's had a little bit too much to drink, for about twenty years.
And he sees this piece of paper on the ground and he picks
It up and it's just a, it's just a piece of paper somebody dropped out of their bible.
It's kind of a tract you know, one of those things that somebody writes down their,
Their ideas about how to explain God to somebody else they want to give
This piece of paper to and this person just drops it on the ground and this guy
Picks it up and he starts reading and thinks this is about me.
How could anybody know about me? Except for God.
And that's why he thought this was a note from God.
And it wasn't. But he thought it was. But it wasn't.
But he thought it was, and that's what's important.
You know what happens when you start getting involved with God.
Your life starts changing and you start getting kinda happy and you know,
Kinda messes up your viewpoint of life, you kinda change your perspective and,
And the first thing you know you're so glad that things have changed in your life
You wanna go tell all your friends about it, and that's what this guy did.
He wanted to go back and tell all of his friends that he found
This note from God and it said
You got the blues but you can shake it

And that's what it said on this note from Mr God
So if you feel down
With your chin on the ground
And suddenly you feel odd
Well just look all around look down look
Down on the ground you some might see some
Kind of piece of paper floating around might just be

Uma Nota do Sr. Deus
Eu estava tão pra baixo
Apenas andando por aí
Querendo saber o que fazer
Quando de repente eu fui surpreendido do nada
Os pássaros cantavam seu canto enquanto eu caminhava
De repente me senti muito estranho
'Porque do céu caiu uma nota do Sr. Deus
E disse
Você tem o blues, mas você pode agitá-lo
Se você tem fé, você pode fazer isso
Você tem uma chance
Você deve pegá-lo enquanto pode
Não perca a esperança
Nunca o perca
Você tem uma escolha, mas você deve escolher
E isso é o que disse nesta nota do Senhor Deus

Sim, esta é uma música sobre este homem que está caminhando
A rua e ele bebeu um pouco demais, por cerca de vinte anos.
E ele vê este pedaço de papel no chão e ele pega
É só um pedaço de papel que alguém tirou da Bíblia.
É uma espécie de folheto, você sabe, uma daquelas coisas que alguém escreve em seu,
Suas ideias sobre como explicar Deus a alguém que desejam dar
Este pedaço de papel para e essa pessoa simplesmente o joga no chão e esse cara
Pega e começa a ler e pensa que é sobre mim.
Como alguém poderia saber sobre mim? Exceto por Deus.
E é por isso que ele pensou que era um bilhete de Deus.
E não foi. Mas ele achava que era. Mas não foi.
Mas ele achava que sim, e isso é o que importa.
Você sabe o que acontece quando você começa a se envolver com Deus.
Sua vida começa a mudar e você fica meio feliz e sabe,
Meio que bagunça seu ponto de vista de vida, você meio que muda sua perspectiva e,
E a primeira coisa que você sabe é que você está tão feliz que as coisas mudaram em sua vida
Você quer contar a todos os seus amigos sobre isso, e foi isso que esse cara fez.
Ele queria voltar e contar a todos os seus amigos que encontrou
Esta nota de Deus e disse
Você tem o blues, mas você pode agitá-lo

Então você deve pegá-lo enquanto pode

Com o queixo no chão
E de repente você se sente estranho
Bem, olhe ao redor olhe para baixo olhe
