Forever Dying

Water so dark and dreary, that's where my sweet Mary sleeps; under the ice in winter. I placed my axe in her back. She was so pretty - I had to make her mine. Her white dress stained red. Axe head cased in her ribcage, kicking her twitching corpse in the sea. She is still breathing. The stars are bleeding, dripping her light forever. I should have saved her, kept her bones for fire. Her complexion so pale as if she had seen a ghost, a ghost of her life fading as the water entered her lungs. A gasp and my hand holding nothing as she begins to fall; down deep where cries wonÃ?t echo - below in the depths of hollow. Ruby lips. Blue water. The stars are bleeding, dripping her light forever. I did what I had to do splitting her in two - ceasing with a cry I couldnÃ?t hearÃ?? but it rang through my soul. Knowing what happened inside. Knowing her life below.
