Eu sempre pego o mesmo caminho pra casa:I always take the same way home:
Subindo pela Avenida University, depois à direita na Byres Road.Straight up University Avenue, then right on Byres Road.
E no topo eu viro na Observatory, depois desço a rua e chego em casa.And at the top I turn onto Observatory, then down the lane and home.
Nem penso mais nisso,I don't even think about it anymore,
Só começo a andar e, vinte minutos depois, já tô lá.I just start walking and twenty minutes later I'll find myself there.
Mas uma noite eu me perdi -But one night I found myself lost -
Olhei pra cima e estava na Sydenham Road.I looked up and I was on Sydenham Road.
E não fazia ideia de como cheguei lá.And I'd no idea how I'd got there.

Esperei um tempo pra ver se algo ia acontecer;I waited for a while to see if anything was going to happen;
Pra ver se eu tinha ido pra lá por algum motivo -To see if I'd come there for any reason -
Mas não tinha ninguém por perto, e tudo estava quieto.But there was nobody about, and everything was quiet.
E eu fui pra casa pela Kensington Gate,And I walked home round Kensington Gate,
E esqueci disso.And I forgot about it.

Mas desde então, cada vez mais coisas assim começaram a acontecer.But since then more and more stuff like that has started happening.
Mais coisas que eu costumava fazer sem pensarMore things I used to do without thinking about them
Começaram a sair diferentes,Have started coming out differently,
E eu comecei a passar horas fazendo coisas que não me interessam -And I've started spending hours doing things I've got no interest in -

Me pego ouvindo bandas que sempre odiei antes,I catch myself listening to bands I've always hated before,

Comecei a ler no caminho pra casa, e tinha um artigo láI started reading it on the way home, and there was this article in there

Eu joguei a revista fora e me certifiquei de pegar as ruas certas pra casa.I threw the magazine away, and made sure I took the right streets home.
E comecei a me perguntar se talvez eu tivesse sido picado por esse tipo de vespa.And I tried to remember if maybe I'd been stung by that kind of wasp.
