I made a movie about the end of the world
it was 12 seconds long and it didn't have a plot
it just happens
and that's why it's in black and white
the characters don't talk or move around
they just stare up at the sky, frozen
and the light, the light is numb, the light is off
the light is just a thumb nail sketch of god
god...
somewhere, someone is crying
the camera sweeps over a desolate street
holding a mother and her child
the kid is calm and she is shaking
the camera passes into the sun
come at last to be undone
panicking, she tries to run

and then the credits roll
and every name is my name
wake up sunshine, it's time to go

Eu fiz um filme sobre o fim do mundo
ele tinha 12 segundos e não tinha enredo
só acontece
por isso é em preto e branco
os personagens não falam nem se movem
eles só ficam olhando pro céu, paralisados
e a luz, a luz tá sem vida, a luz tá apagada
a luz é só um rascunho de Deus
deus...
em algum lugar, alguém está chorando
a câmera passa por uma rua desolada
mostrando uma mãe e seu filho
a criança tá calma e ela tá tremendo
a câmera vai em direção ao sol
vem finalmente pra se desfazer
em pânico, ela tenta correr
a criança tá calma, a criança tá calma
e então os créditos sobem
e todo nome é meu nome
acorda, raio de sol, tá na hora de ir
