Everyone's Left

Everyone's left, and I'm stuck behind
Left in the dust, left out to rust
Where no one can find
I wanna catch up, but I'm too scared to try
They're so far ahead
So I guess instead I'll stick behind

I know someday I'll have to move
I can't stick here forever
I swear I'm gonna one day
They say: Better late than never
When the road ahead looks rough
And I'm not wearing the right shoes
So I don't see the harm waiting a bit longer would do

Everyone's left, and I miss them so
But that's on me
I watched them leave, and let them go
So I'm on my own
At least for now
I'll pick up the pace
And join the race when I learn how
