On The Way To School
MIREILLE:
On the way to school each morning,
Making sure they won't be late,
All the animals are going
With their books they just can't wait.
EMMANUEL:
Little mouse wears great big glasses,
And the peacock holds a pen,
Here's the duck who loves his classes,
Baby chicks with mama hare.
PLACIDO:
Five little kittens wearing their mittens
Tend to lag behind.
They might be scared, but they won't be spared
From their very first time.
LES TROIS:
On their way to school each morning
You can hear the turtle sigh,
She's a huffing and a puffing,
Every inch just like a mile.
MIREILLE:
On the way to school together
Just because they love to learn
Go the beasts by any weather,
Always happy to return.
EMMANUEL:
See the camel with his knapsack,
The giraffe beside the skunk,
Baby elephant had sit back,
Holding mama by the trunk.
PLACIDO:
Here come the monkeys, the zebras and donkeys.
The chickens and the horse.
They realise the way to get wise
Is to read of course.
LES TROIS:
Said the turtle to the panda.
When she got to school so late,
Gonna send a note to Santa,
Ask him for a pair of skates,

A Caminho da Escola
MIREILLE:
A caminho da escola toda manhã,
Garantindo que não vão se atrasar,
Todos os animais estão indo
Com seus livros, mal podem esperar.
EMMANUEL:
O ratinho usa óculos enormes,
E o pavão segura uma caneta,
Aqui está o pato que ama suas aulas,
Os pintinhos com a mamãe lebre.
PLACIDO:
Cinco gatinhos usando suas luvas
Costumam ficar pra trás.
Podem estar com medo, mas não vão escapar
Da sua primeira vez.
LES TROIS:
A caminho da escola toda manhã
Você pode ouvir a tartaruga suspirar,
Ela está bufando e ofegante,
Cada passo parece uma milha.
MIREILLE:
A caminho da escola juntos
Só porque amam aprender
Vão os bichos, faça chuva ou faça sol,
Sempre felizes em voltar.
EMMANUEL:
Olha o camelo com sua mochila,
A girafa ao lado do gambá,
O filhote de elefante ficou pra trás,
Segurando a mamãe pela tromba.
PLACIDO:
Lá vêm os macacos, as zebras e os jumentos.
As galinhas e o cavalo.
Eles percebem que o jeito de ficar esperto
É ler, claro.
LES TROIS:
Disse a tartaruga para o panda.
Quando chegou na escola tão tarde,
Vou mandar uma carta pro Papai Noel,
Pedir pra ele um par de patins,
