Brave New World
Everybody is demanding
a certain lust for life
eveybody wants to live in peace
(Wouldn't that be kind?)
but it's meaning just can't be
the counterpart of war
it's more an attitude of mind
repeated summit conferences
of the rulers on this earth
but is there any confidence
between these talk-talk-talking heads?
Is this the native place
for every man and every race
Is this a place for boys and girls
or just a brave new world?
So many people are denying
the threat of a new world war
they simply want to live their lives
(oh please no tears)
but this wording just can't be
the counterpart of death
life should be free from everlasting fear
but there've never been innocent
kings and leaders on this earth
only fear and ignorance
within these heads 'til holy death
Is this the native place
for every man and every race
Is this a place for boys and girls
or just a brave new world?

Todo mundo tá exigindo
uma certa vontade de viver
todo mundo quer viver em paz

más isso não pode ser
o oposto da guerra
é mais uma atitude mental
conferências de cúpula repetidas
dos governantes dessa terra
mas será que há alguma confiança
entre essas cabeças que só falam?
É este o lugar nativo
para todo homem e toda raça?
É este um lugar para meninos e meninas
ou apenas um mundo novo e corajoso?
Tanta gente tá negando
a ameaça de uma nova guerra mundial
eles só querem viver suas vidas
(oh, por favor, sem lágrimas)
más essa forma de falar não pode ser
o oposto da morte
a vida deveria ser livre de medo eterno
mas nunca houve inocentes
reis e líderes nessa terra
só medo e ignorância
dentro dessas cabeças até a morte sagrada
É este o lugar nativo
para todo homem e toda raça?
É este um lugar para meninos e meninas
ou apenas um mundo novo e corajoso?
