With ebony-feathered wings through the dark I fly

I am the night-spirit

Like a shade upon the star-spangled sky

Alone, like a voyager of dreams - unknown

I fly away - through the shimmering moonlight

I ride the frozen winds of twilight until the end of time

The sun has fallen from the sky, into a roaring sea of blood to drown

Never again to spread its tainted light, upon the flooded shores of Eden

Never more - will the sun arise from the horizon

All is dark and silent

My raven eyes, like astral fire, beholds the desolate lands below

I feel the pulse of nocturnal wisdom - within my heart

Enrobed in black - above the meadows of Eden

The moon reflects upon my somber wings

So endless dark, the aeons to come will be

I soar into another dream

I am as one, with the night that burns in me

From the gardens of stars a carillion serenade, invites me to the twilight, invisible, ballet

Dancing with ghosts I darkly parade, as a shade in their grotesque act of masquerade

Behind a smile of revelation I hide, under the cloak of time

I'm the misanthropic messiah in disguise, from the shadows to rise

The drencher - divine

A deluge from my celestial skies

Spattered in blood, my angels I deign to drown

Another dream, from sinister tongues, whispers crawls in me

"The vast is thine - without form, and void"

All is calm

Beneath my wings the plain lies dead and silent

Another dawn, a new beginning

Another breath before the dark

Com asas de penas negras, pelo escuro eu voo

Sou o espírito da noite

Como uma sombra no céu estrelado

Sozinho, como um viajante de sonhos - desconhecido

Eu voo para longe - através do brilho da luz da lua

Eu cavalgo os ventos congelados do crepúsculo até o fim dos tempos

O sol caiu do céu, em um mar rugente de sangue para se afogar

Nunca mais espalhará sua luz manchada, nas praias alagadas do Éden

Nunca mais - o sol surgirá no horizonte

Tudo é escuro e silencioso

Meus olhos de corvo, como fogo astral, contemplam as terras desoladas abaixo

Sinto o pulso da sabedoria noturna - dentro do meu coração

Vestido de negro - acima dos prados do Éden

A lua reflete em minhas asas sombrias

Tão interminável a escuridão, as eras que virão serão

Eu me elevo em outro sonho

Sou um só, com a noite que arde em mim

Dos jardins das estrelas, uma serenata de carrilhão, me convida ao crepúsculo, invisível, balé

Dançando com fantasmas, eu desfilo obscuramente, como uma sombra em seu ato grotesco de mascarada

Atrás de um sorriso de revelação eu me escondo, sob o manto do tempo

Sou o messias misantrópico disfarçado, das sombras para ressurgir

O dilúvio - divino

Um dilúvio dos meus céus celestiais

Salpicado de sangue, meus anjos eu me recuso a afogar

Outro sonho, de línguas sinistras, sussurros rastejam em mim

"O vasto é teu - sem forma, e vazio"

Tudo está calmo

Sob minhas asas a planície jaz morta e silenciosa

Outra aurora, um novo começo
