Footprints In The Dust

This place is loud of a deathlike silence
The air is unbreathable and heavy
Remains of a past life all around
Books and pictures of last witnesses

My eyes are gazing all around
Looking for a shine in the dark
I'm lost in this forgotten place
Frozen in time with memories

I step in this old room that I already saw
Everything is familiar to my mind
I remember, there, was standing something
On the other hand, something else

Marks of life
Now buried and dead
Left behind by mortal hands
Stuck all around there
Traces of past
Remembrances of existence
There are footprints in the dust
And they are mines
