Miracle

watched me from the outside
to get inside my mind
figuring out just what was there
and who I'd really find
the truth was like a miracle
saw someone I'd not known
face to face with my pretending
still so insecure

I've been listening to the radio
thoughts came into my head
"am I really who I think I am or just know my fascade?"
I don't know why I do sometimes the things I do
it's true if I would be honest
Jesus, I don't understand me too

I was hiding from my sisters
I was hiding from my brothers
until love was redefined

I've found my place

my face is shining bright
I see the sun by day
but day turns into night
rescue me
lay all my fear aside
come and set me free
I long to be a light

I watched myself from the inside
through the eyes of love
started to see just who I am and found,
my value's from above
the truth was like a miracle
God introduced me to my soul
he showed me that the crutch I carry
it would keep me immature

with the eyes wide open in your arms of grace
overwhelmed by the mercy and the beauty of this place
my mask was a burden I had carried for so long
now it's gone cause of the One who's called God's Son
