The sunset chose a funny time to enter
It was a cold ass winter
Much like the sea of ice
But the vibe was a fierce contender
I'd say some words
To maybe cut the tension
But the knife kept bending
I guess you can't rejoin the leaves
Falling from the trees

But I promise as the rain water gathers in my palms
