To Praise The Eternal (Psalm 91)
Oh Eternal One, I bring my heart to you!
For You are worthy and holy!
Your hand shatters mountains and boils the sea...
By Your breath do the winds move...
And I bring my praise to You!
Your wrath lay secret above the universe...
Bring Your sword upon the sin that dwells within us...
For Your might is a blazing sun of strength...
You have restored this shattered soul...
But for Your grace I would be a corpse,
Rotting with the passing world...
You give life, O Soverign One!
You give life!
O Father of Life, my heart beats for Your glory!
Death shall relinquish my body
But You, Lord, will gather up my spirit!
Let Your spirit fill my heart!
Your wonders abound in me...
I am nothing outside of You...
Eternal One, Almight God, take this offering!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty...
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God in whom I trust."
You will only observe with your eyes
And see the punishment of the wicked...

Oh Eterno, eu trago meu coração a Ti!
Pois Tu és digno e santo!
Tua mão despedaça montanhas e ferve o mar...
Pelo Teu sopro os ventos se movem...
E eu trago meu louvor a Ti!
Tua ira está oculta acima do universo...
Traz Tua espada sobre o pecado que habita em nós...
Pois Tua força é um sol ardente de poder...
Tu restauraste esta alma despedaçada...
Mas pela Tua graça eu seria um cadáver,
Apodrecendo com o passar do mundo...
Tu dás vida, ó Soberano!
Tu dás vida!
Ó Pai da Vida, meu coração bate por Tua glória!
A morte entregará meu corpo
Mas Tu, Senhor, recolherás meu espírito!
Deixa Teu espírito encher meu coração!
Teus maravilhas abundam em mim...
Eu não sou nada fora de Ti...
Eterno, Deus Todo-Poderoso, aceita esta oferta!
Aquele que habita no abrigo do Altíssimo
Descansará à sombra do Todo-Poderoso...
Direi ao Senhor: "Ele é meu refúgio e minha fortaleza,
Meu Deus em quem confio."
Somente observarás com os olhos
E verás a punição dos ímpios...
