When The Storm Is Near

Fall comes in through the door
The wind on its feet my eyes hit the floor
I see the wood makes room for no sound
With a cool in the air and leaves on the ground
I feel a breeze move in through the trees
When the storm is near I hear the wind singing

Walls break in through the core
The strength in my knees collapse to the floor
I see the bones adjust to the ground
With a hole in my soul that breaks pound for pound
I see the tide move in from outside
When the storm is near I hear the wind singing

Storm comes in on the water
