I saw you rolled your eyes while i was telling you about my day

You used to like my tongue to wag for no reason
I guess we all get used to everything

Then you asked me if i still loved you
And i nodded yes like an old reflex
You were about to go back to sleep
But i turned on the lights, brought a chair and took a seat

We could use a little talk
It seems like we're skidding off the tracks
