Old Dog, New Tricks

This old dog can’t learn new tricks
As long as daddys got his fix
Take me down to the underground
Tie me up with your loving hands and teach me how to drown

Walking man can’t find his shoes
He’ll drag his feet until they bruise
Lead me in to your troubled mind
Place the blame in my loving hands and leave the rest behind

Glass of bleach and batteries
I'm sewing cloth on battered knees
Wake me up from this awful dream
Hold me close in your loving hands while I rip the seams

This old dog he’s got new tricks
So slowly daddy starts to twitch
