I got an old truck, reliable and true
Takes me through the country, where the Sun rises and sets, too
I got a horse, strong and fast
Helps me work the range, and live this cowboy life at last

With my lovely Texan, and our young'uns by my side
We live a simple life, honest and real
With cattle and horses, that's the way we feel

My Texan's a beauty, with a smilin' face
She's the queen of the ranch, and my best partner in this place
Our young'uns are the light, of our life
They're the reason, why we work and strive
