Luna's Soliloquy
Fate has been cruel and order unkind
How could you have sent me away?
I sit here and gaze into stillness alone
The darkness and silence pervade
But here in my prison, my thoughts they won’t fade
Of power and glory and praise
´Till your blinded eyes can see your own lies
The stars will recount my last days
Once was a pony whose moon shone so bright
The stars were in awe at its glow
She smiled and said: Surely, there is no pony
Who’d dare be asleep through this marvelous show
Yet where were they all?
Her subjects she never caught sight of once shadows did fall
Their laughter and joy was but a hopeless dream
Which grew into nightmares as Sun rays charmed all
Wait now, Sun princess, the night will arise
So keep not my moon in its place
Tia my judgment was not yours to give
And soon now we'll both meet our fates
Carry my rage, oh you shadows of night
And carry my sorrow in kind
Sister, your deed hurt much more than you know
The time for my vengeance is nigh
The beams of another cast brightly on others
Whose love and affection it drew
And there that moon princess watched, shunned by the world
As hate filled her heart and unhappiness grew
Why don’t they adore me?
She thought to herself,
As the other had no right to boast
And that selfish pony did nothing to stop
The destruction of I, who had needed her most
Wait now, Sun princess, the night will arise
So keep not my moon in its place

O destino foi cruel e a ordem ingrata
Como você pôde me mandar embora?
Eu me sento aqui e olho para a quietude sozinha
A escuridão e o silêncio dominam
Mas aqui na minha prisão, meus pensamentos não desaparecem
De poder, glória e louvor
Até que seus olhos cegos possam ver suas próprias mentiras

Era uma vez uma pônei cuja lua brilhava tanto
As estrelas ficavam maravilhadas com seu brilho
Ela sorria e dizia: Certamente, não há pônei
Que ousaria dormir durante esse show maravilhoso
Mas onde estavam todos?
Seus súditos ela nunca avistou quando as sombras caíram
A risada e a alegria deles eram apenas um sonho sem esperança
Que se transformou em pesadelos quando os raios do Sol encantaram a todos
Espere agora, princesa do Sol, a noite vai surgir
Então não mantenha minha lua em seu lugar
Tia, meu julgamento não era seu para dar
E em breve agora, ambos enfrentaremos nossos destinos
Carreguem minha raiva, oh sombras da noite
E carreguem minha tristeza também

A hora da minha vingança está próxima
Os raios de outro brilham intensamente sobre outros
