End of May

I'm looking up from the ground of the swimming pool
Couldn't see the bottom but I jumped still
You even warned me not to go too deep
I never listened, never listened

We were flowers at the end of may
Clouds came and turned the water grey
Was still but now I'm frozen
Left all of my doors open
Wind in the cracks keeps pulling me back
I fold and bend
When will the summer come around again?

Every memory feels like a stolen dream
The Sun breaks through a catch a view of 23
And for a moment there the sky was blue and I could see
