Comprei essa casa, agora sou o chefeI bought this house, now I am boss

Na minha cozinha, meu fogão estava pegando fogoIn my kitchen my stove was a blazing hot
O café estava fervendo na panelaCoffee was a-boiling in the pot
A gordura tinha derretido na minha mãoGrease had melted in my hand (pan?)
Eu tinha um pedaço de carne na mãoI had a hunk of meat in my hand

Em cima do fogão quente com as panelasOn the hot stove with the pots and pans
"Diga que tá quente" eu comecei a gritar"Say that's hot" I began to shout
Ele bebeu o café quente direto do bicoHe drank the hot coffee right from the spout
Ele comeu a carne crua da minha mãoHe ate the raw meat right from my hand
Bebeu a gordura quente da frigideiraDrank the hot grease from the frying pan
E me disse: "É melhor você correr e não estar aquiAnd said to me "You better run and don't be here
