I don’t deserve

I don’t deserve so great a love as this
Beholding this evil world, the Father gave His Son to die for me
I don’t deserve such worth as this
The price was high, it was crimson blood
Formed by Thine own hands was I
Given a pure heart inside
And even so, I chose to fall

Communion once I left behind
Forgive me, Lord, for I but err and fail
Enkindle now my soul, and purify Thine altar

And if I should grow weak, Lord, raise me up again
Cast down the walls that hinder me from faith within
Without Thee I am nothing, without Thee I cannot live
Thy love, I do not deserve
