À deriva no vento do Nilo
Drifting in the wind of the Nile
Aquele feito para libertar seu povo
The one made to set his people free
Escolhido, não por causa de seus atos
Chosen, not because of his deeds
Mas pela vontade soberana de Deus
But by God's sovereign will
Chamado por Deus de uma sarça ardente
Called by God from a burning bush
Ungido para fazer sua vontade
Anointed to do his will
Para resgatar os israelitas de sua miséria
To rescue the Israelites from their misery
E para trazê-los para sua própria terra
And to bring them to their own land

Ouça, ó céus, e ele falará
Listen, O heavens, and he will speak
Ouça, ó terra, as palavras de Sua boca
Hear, O earth, the words of His mouth
Sinais e maravilhas o seguirão
Signs and wonders will follow him
Pois ele vai proclamar o nome do Senhor
For he will proclaim the name of the Lord

I am the Lord, the great I Am
E eu vou quebrar a escravidão da escravidão
And I will break the bondage of slavery
Eu vou te redimir com um braço estendido
I will redeem you with an outstretched arm

With mighty acts of judgment

To your holy dwelling
