"Pois é Ele quem te tira da armadilha"For it is He Who takes you away from the trap
E da doença mortalAnd from the killing sickness
Ele te cobrirá com suas asasHe will cover you with His wings
E sob suas asas você estará seguroAnd under His wings you will be safe
Ele é fiel como uma proteção e uma parede forteHe is faithful like a safe-covering and a strong wall
Você não terá medo da angústia à noiteYou will not be afraid of trouble at night
Nem da flecha que voa de dia.Or of the arrow that flies by day.
Você não terá medo da doença que anda na escuridãoYou will not be afraid of the sickness that walks in darkness
Nem da angústia que destrói ao meio-diaOr of the trouble that destroys at noon
Mil podem cair ao seu ladoA thousand may fall at your side
E dez mil à sua direitaAnd ten thousand at your right hand
Mas isso não chegará perto de vocêBut it will not come near you
Você só olhará com seus olhosYou will only look on with your eyes
E verá como os pecadores são punidosAnd see how the sinful are punished
Porque você fez do Senhor seu abrigoBecause you have made the Lord your safe place
