Narrator: Listen, while I tell you, a story old and true,
About how Casey Macphee the engineer got his train through.
He faced the toughest duty, an engineer could do,

Cookie Monster: Me got the train, and get it through.....
N: Train was carrying moo cows, and cake and ice cream too.
There were six cars full of cookies, and a tank of chocolate too.
The stuff was for the party, that the kids would have all year.
And getting that train through the narrow pass was the job of the engineer!
Through, through, through, he got the train through.

C (spoken): Oh, this train full of stuff me love to eat.
And there are lots of children waiting for stuff
on other side of dangerous narrow pass.
Me must get train through!!!!!
N: But an avalanche had closed the track and covered it with snow.
The snow was deep, the track was blocked, there was no place he could go.
Casey knew the train was filled with things he loved to eat.
But Casey knew his duty and would not admit defeat!
Through, through, through, he got the train through.
Through, through, through....
C (spoken): Oh, tough choice. Track covered with snow.
If me stay here, and not try to go through pass,
Me stuck here, all alone with six cars of cookies and ice cream.
Aaaaaaaaallllll alone, with nooooooooobody watching.
Me getting hungry. Me getting VERY hungry!
Oooooooh, maybe it's not too bad if me eat some cookies...
Wait!! What me doing???? It be very bad if me eat cookies.
Me must get train through!!!!!
N: Well, Casey was a hero. And his duty he could see.
Without the cookies and the milk, no party could there be.
The kids would be unhappy,
So Casey raised his head.......
C: Me forget about the cookies,
AND EAT THE SNOW INSTEAD!!!!!
N: Through, through, through, he got the train through,
he ate up all the avalanche....
C: It mighty tasty too!
N: Through, through, through, he got the train through.

N: O trem estava levando vacas, bolo e sorvete também.
Eram seis vagões cheios de biscoitos, e um tanque de chocolate também.
As coisas eram para a festa, que as crianças teriam o ano todo.
E fazer aquele trem passar pelo desfiladeiro estreito era o trabalho do engenheiro!

C (falado): Oh, esse trem cheio de coisas que eu amo comer.
E tem muitas crianças esperando por coisas
do outro lado do perigoso desfiladeiro estreito.
Eu preciso fazer o trem passar!!!!!
N: Mas uma avalanche fechou a trilha e cobriu tudo de neve.
A neve estava profunda, a trilha estava bloqueada, não havia lugar para onde ir.
Casey sabia que o trem estava cheio de coisas que ele adorava comer.
Mas Casey sabia do seu dever e não iria admitir a derrota!
Passar, passar, passar, ele fez o trem passar.

C (falado): Oh, escolha difícil. A trilha coberta de neve.
Se eu ficar aqui e não tentar passar,
Eu fico preso aqui, sozinho com seis vagões de biscoitos e sorvete.
Aaaaaaaaallllll sozinho, sem ninguém me vigiando.
Estou ficando com fome. Estou ficando MUITO faminto!
Oooooooh, talvez não seja tão ruim se eu comer alguns biscoitos...
Espera!! O que eu estou fazendo???? Vai ser muito ruim se eu comer biscoitos.
Eu preciso fazer o trem passar!!!!!
N: Bem, Casey era um herói. E ele podia ver seu dever.
Sem os biscoitos e o leite, não haveria festa.
As crianças ficariam tristes,
Então Casey levantou a cabeça.......
C: Eu esqueci dos biscoitos,
E COMI A NEVE NO LUGAR!!!!!
N: Passar, passar, passar, ele fez o trem passar,
e comeu toda a avalanche....
C: É muito gostoso também!
