Pickup Truck
me and my truck like to hit the streets
see just how many pretty girls we can meet after 2 AM on the weekend
there was a 9 out of 10 standing outside the bar
"My name is Shane, how do you like me so far?" was my pickup line
It's been working since '99
She didn't even say a word, turned on her heel and flipped me the bird
lately we don't have the affect we used to have on the girls
me and my old pickup truck
these days we dont pick up much
but there's chrome on her hood
man we're looking so good when we're looking for love
i know we'll be rolling again someday soon
somewhere around the bend
i know we'll have better luck in my pickup truck
9 out of 10 were still looking at me
I asked her, "Are you from Tennesse 'cuz baby, you're the only 10 I see."
She smiled back much to my surprise
"I need a map 'cuz I'm lost in your eyes" was the last thing I said before her purse hit my head.
Now we're sitting here all alone
Me and Chevy at the side of the road wondering how our dynamic duo went so wrong
but me and my old pickup truck
these days we dont pick up much
Maybe pink furry dice and a can of Old Spice are making us too hot to touch
i know we'll be rolling again someday soon
somewhere around the bend
i know we'll have better luck - me and my pickup truck
maybe we need to give this thing just one more try
bigger tires and a new paint job with flames on the side would really pimp out our ride

ver quantas garotas bonitas conseguimos conhecer depois das 2 da manhã no fim de semana
tinha uma 9 de 10 parada do lado de fora do bar
"Meu nome é Shane, o que você achou de mim até agora?" foi minha cantada

Ela nem disse uma palavra, virou-se e me mandou um dedo
ultimamente não temos o efeito que costumávamos ter nas garotas

hoje em dia não pegamos muita gente
mas tem cromado no capô dela
cara, estamos tão bem quando estamos procurando amor
eu sei que vamos estar rodando de novo em breve
em algum lugar na curva

9 de 10 ainda estavam me olhando
eu perguntei a ela: "Você é do Tennessee? Porque, querida, você é a única 10 que eu vejo."
Ela sorriu de volta, para minha surpresa
"Eu preciso de um mapa porque estou perdida nos seus olhos" foi a última coisa que eu disse antes da bolsa dela bater na minha cabeça.
Agora estamos aqui sozinhos

Talvez dados de pelúcia rosa e uma lata de Old Spice estejam nos deixando quentes demais para tocar

talvez precisemos dar mais uma chance a isso
pneus maiores e uma nova pintura com chamas na lateral realmente deixariam nosso carro mais estiloso
