It lurks in the corner of every home,
real life in your living room,
the world on remote control,
(you mean there´s a real world out there man?)
clock of the people set your watches to it,
wasting your lives transfixed to it
(you just stare right through it)
A reliever of boredom the opium of fools,
you hold the controls,
they control as you view (they control you)
things going down, you know nothing about,
yeah, your oracles a television,
you shut the rest out (yeah you shut the world out)
Magnetized mesmerized hypnotized
paralyzed victimized!
(is there anybody left alive who remembers what we
did before we had television?)
sucking up, all your concentration,
draining the art of conversation
(shut the fuck up, I can't hear my TV!)
flick through the channels
same morals same lessons-
same time next station-
the same fucking message
They ain't gonna hail,
if they don't know what they´re hailing
it's time they learnt,
that the truth has been banned,
give will to opose,
these lies they´ve been bred on,
indoctrinate the youth, TV´s master plan..
how can they listen,
on the edge of their tempers?
When they can´t comprehend
they've been programmed
TV junkie you talk like a monkey
who´s pressing your buttons?

Ele se esconde no canto de cada casa,
vida real na sua sala de estar,
o mundo no controle remoto,
(você quer dizer que tem um mundo real lá fora, cara?)
relógio do povo, ajuste seus relógios para isso,
perdendo suas vidas hipnotizados por isso
(você só fica olhando pra isso)
Um alívio para o tédio, o ópio dos tolos,
você segura os controles,
eles controlam enquanto você assiste (eles controlam você)
coisas acontecendo, você não sabe nada sobre,
é, seu oráculo é uma televisão,
você ignora o resto (é, você ignora o mundo)
Magnetizado, hipnotizado, paralisado
vítima!
(há alguém vivo que se lembra do que fizemos
antes de termos televisão?)
sugando toda a sua concentração,
drenando a arte da conversa
(cala a boca, não consigo ouvir minha TV!)
passando pelos canais
mesmos valores, mesmas lições-
mesmo horário, próxima estação-
a mesma mensagem de merda
Eles não vão aplaudir,
se não souberem o que estão aplaudindo
é hora de aprenderem,
que a verdade foi banida,
dê vontade de se opor,
essas mentiras que eles foram alimentados,
indoctrinar a juventude, o plano mestre da TV..
como eles podem ouvir,
na beira da raiva?
Quando não conseguem compreender
que foram programados
viciado em TV, você fala como um macaco
quem está apertando seus botões?
