Levantarei meus olhos para os montes, de onde virá meu socorroI will lift up mine eyes onto the hills from whence shall my help come

Que fez o céu e a terraWhich made heaven and earth
Ele não deixará que teu pé seja abaladoHe will not suffer thy foot to be moved
Aquele que te guarda não cochilaráHe that keepeth thee will not slumber
Eis que aquele que guarda Israel não cochilará nem dormiráBehold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep
O Senhor é teu guardião, o Senhor é tua sombra à tua direitaThe Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy shade upon my right hand
O sol não te ferirá de dia, nem a lua de noiteThe sun shall not spite thee by day, nor the moon by night
O Senhor te preservará de todo malThe Lord shall preserve thee from all evil
Ele guardará tua almaHe shall preserve thy soul
O Senhor guardará tua saída e tua chegadaThe Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming
Desde agora e para sempreFrom this time forth and forever more

O Senhor é meu pastorThe Lord is thy shepherd
Nada me faltaráI shall not want
Ele me faz repousar em pastagens verdesHe maketh me to lie down in green pastures
Ele me guia junto a águas tranquilasHe leadeth me beside distilled waters
Ele restaura minha almaHe restoreth my soul
Ele me guia por caminhos de justiça por amor do seu nomeHe leadeth on paths of righteousness for his name sake
Ainda que eu ande pelo vale da sombra da morteYea though I walk to the valley of the shadow death
Não temerei mal algum, pois Tu estás comigoI will fear no evil for Thou art with me
Teu cajado e Teu bordão me confortamThy rod and Thy staff they comfort me
Preparas uma mesa diante de mim na presença dos meus inimigosThou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
Unges minha cabeça com óleo, meu cálice transbordaThou anointeth my head with oil, my cup runneth over
Certamente a bondade e a misericórdia me seguirão todos os dias da minha vidaSurely goodness and mercy shall follow all the days of my life
E habitarei na casa do Senhor, para sempreAnd I will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever

Ó Deus, que és cheio de compaixãoOh God who art full of compassion
Tu que habitas nas alturasThou who dwellest up high
Concede descanso perfeito sob a proteção de tua presença divinaGrant perfect rest beneath the shelter of thy divine presence
Nos lugares exaltados entre os santos e purosIn the exalted places among the holy and pure
Que brilham como a luz do firmamentoWho shine as the brightness of the firment
Para todos aqueles que foram para seu lar eternoTo all those who have gone to their eternal home
A piedade de quem a vida é o tema de nossa meditação hojeThe piety of who's life forms the subject of our meditation today
Suplicamos a Ti, ó Senhor da compaixãoWe beseech thee oh Lord of compassion
Abriga-os para sempre sob a sombra de Tuas asasShelter them evermore under the cover of Thy wings
E que suas almas sejam ligadas ao laço da vidaAnd let their souls be bound up with bond of life
Que descansem em paz, que descansem em paz, e digamos AmémMay they repose in peace may they rest in peace and let us say Amen
