Mula Milagrosa

Well, everybody knows about the fabulous story

Of the Mule that beat all of the prize quarterhorses

In every race

For three years straight,

From '55 to '58, I think it was..

My memory's little hazy, of course.

Yeah this mule would just line up with all of the finest and take out a running at

the sounding of the gun but in the final turn the mule would start to burn and

though them quarterhorses was steady making pretty good time,

The Mule was first to cross the line every time.

He was the Miracle Mule, in a quarterhorse duel,

And only a fool would bet upon a Miracle Mule.

So one day his rider whispered in his ear,

"Mule, the end of your career is drawing near, you lost a step, your time is spent,"

But the mule was offended and he said,

"Now why should I retire?... I'm just now catching on fire!"

Bem, todo mundo conhece a história fabulosa

Da Mula que venceu todos os cavalos de corrida

Em cada prova

Por três anos seguidos,

De '55 a '58, eu acho que foi...

Minha memória tá meio confusa, claro.

É, essa mula se alinhava com os melhores e saía correndo ao

sinal do tiro, mas na curva final a mula começava a acelerar e

embora aqueles cavalos de corrida estivessem fazendo um bom tempo,

A Mula era a primeira a cruzar a linha toda vez.

Ele era a Mula Milagrosa, em um duelo de cavalos,

E só um idiota apostaria em uma Mula Milagrosa.

Então um dia seu cavaleiro sussurrou em seu ouvido,

"Mula, o fim da sua carreira está se aproximando, você perdeu um passo, seu tempo acabou,"

Mas a mula ficou ofendida e disse,

"Por que eu deveria me aposentar?... Estou apenas começando a pegar fogo!"
