Just a Lazy Day
It's a hot and sunny day,
all of the neighbours are melting.
They're sweating their blues away
and me, I just let 'em.
'cos I'm lying in the shades
doing absolutely nothing.
I'm throwing my life away :
just a lazy day.
And the sun is beating us down
and the cars are washed in slow motion
as the sweat falls from their eyes,
making its way back to the ocean.
And the days have all passed out,
it's a good day to sell lotion.
And there's nothing I should do,
except lie here
and think of you.

É um dia quente e ensolarado,
todos os vizinhos estão derretendo.
Eles estão suando suas tristezas fora
e eu, só deixo rolar.
Porque estou deitado na sombra
afazendo absolutamente nada.
Estou jogando minha vida fora :
só um dia preguiçoso.
E o sol tá pegando pesado na gente
e os carros são lavados em câmera lenta
enquanto o suor escorre dos olhos deles,
voltando pro oceano.
E os dias passaram todos,
é um bom dia pra vender loção.
E não há nada que eu deva fazer,
exceto ficar aqui
e pensar em você.
