A tiring and sad life
With a melancholic end
Sharp hospital machines
Until a flatline runs across a screen

A cold marble tombstone
What was the end became the beginning
I'm not dead, but I'm not alive either
Do I have awareness? I no longer know what I am

I was lost between a straight line
Did I take some detour that led me here?
I'm neither alive nor dead, in-between
I don’t want to get lost in the void

Where is the life I lost?

I don’t feel physically anymore
But everything is so intense inside
I feel hunger, and I fear what comes next
I don’t want to be like this, but it’s too late

I try to scream, but no one understands me
It’s as if I'm speaking another language
No face is familiar, everything has become food
To satisfy this hunger inside me
