Five Dollar Lady
Went down to Big Lots to buy some candy
Ryan had a Buck 86
Jerry had a Buck 53
as we walked through the isle with the budget on our mind
we searched through that isle trying to see what we could find.
Squeezing every penny we had we could only afford the following things
sour patch straws, milky ways and watermellon rings.
as i walked down the isle with the candy in my paws
she handed me a 5 and said:
"This is to contribute to your cause."
Just when we thought there were no good people left,
she did what she thought was best.
She sacrificed a months worth of hair dye
just so we could satisfy our sugar high.
A Dama dos Cinco Dólares
Fui até o Big Lots pra comprar um doce
Ryan tinha um dólar e oitenta e seis
Jerry tinha um dólar e cinquenta e três
Enquanto andávamos pelo corredor pensando no orçamento
Procurávamos por ali tentando ver o que podíamos achar.
Contando cada centavo que tínhamos, só conseguimos comprar as seguintes coisas
canudos de azedinho, milky ways e anéis de melancia.
Enquanto eu andava pelo corredor com os doces nas mãos
ela me deu cinco e disse:
"Isso é pra contribuir com a sua causa."
Justo quando achamos que não havia mais pessoas boas,
elas fizeram o que acharam melhor.
Ela sacrificou um mês de tinta de cabelo
só pra gente satisfazer nossa vontade de doce.
