Na Barriga da Besta

A line had been drawn in the sand, we had been forced to decide

Now I admit that when it all started out I was the first to have doubts

But either way if it was wrong or it's right, we had transformed into knights

And so we reached for our shields, mounted up, and strapped our swords to our sides

Now as the journey progressed and the tension had slowly started to rise

We never wanted to be gone this long but the hunt carried on

Until some of us finally met our demise, and it's hard to not seem surprised

'Cause while we swam with the sharks they somehow let the ocean eat us alive

I see the dragon through the rain ahead

We were taken back by how the flames had spread

I see us burning in a fiery death

We weren't prepared for what transpired next

We felt our bodies begin to descend

I just wish I knew what we were up against

We sunk into the belly of the beast till most people thought we had deceased

Amazing to this day, somehow we both learned how to breathe

Tucked away beneath the swelling of the streets

We traveled on, till there was nothing left to eat

I thought that that was the foretelling of defeat

But then I saw the tides retreat and us propelling towards the beach

Making our way out of the belly of the beast

Travel on

I only use this sword to tear the flesh

And hide the fact I'm really scared to death

I only use this battle scene as the text

To hide the fact I've only dreamed of quests

And I'm not saying it should make much sense

I just wish I knew what we were up against

Nunca quisemos ficar longe por tanto tempo, mas a caçada continuava

Até que alguns de nós finalmente encontraram seu fim, e é difícil não parecer surpreso

Porque enquanto nadávamos com os tubarões, eles de alguma forma deixaram o oceano nos devorar vivos

Eu vejo o dragão através da chuva à frente

Fomos pegos de surpresa com como as chamas se espalharam

Eu vejo nós queimando em uma morte ardente

Não estávamos preparados para o que aconteceu a seguir

Sentimos nossos corpos começarem a descer

Só queria saber contra o que estávamos lutando

Afundamos na barriga da besta até que a maioria das pessoas achasse que tínhamos morrido

Incrível até hoje, de alguma forma aprendemos a respirar

Escondidos sob o inchaço das ruas

Continuamos nossa jornada, até não haver mais nada para comer

Eu pensei que isso era um sinal de derrota

Mas então vi as marés recuarem e nós nos impulsionando em direção à praia

Saindo da barriga da besta

Seguindo em frente

Eu só uso esta espada para rasgar a carne

E esconder o fato de que estou realmente com medo de morrer

Eu só uso esta cena de batalha como o texto

Para esconder o fato de que só sonhei com aventuras

E não estou dizendo que isso deva fazer muito sentido

Só queria saber contra o que estávamos lutando
