Where there was water
The cracks now appear
Over the dark land
The stillness is clear
Now tides are dying
We'll reach for the shore
Past winds will lead us no more

Running through the darkness
Stumbling in the blind
Cannot hear where sea and land collide

Though I may be needed
Still I'm leaving all behind
Everything I knew I set aside
The dying tide

Thirst is slowly wearing
Weakening the mind
Nothing's left and nowhere safe to hide

Searching for a meaning
