A long time ago, in a land far away
An adventurous young man had heard of a legend
A legend of a hidden dragon kingdom
Where life was eternal
I have heard of the Highlands
Where the elder dragon dwells
An enchanted place up high in the sky
It's a home of eternal life
Where no man has ever gone
It's a place where dragons live eternally
I must go there to find eternal life
I want to live forevermore
And to be free from my mortal destiny
Is there a way to find the Highlands?
You must find the keys and magic to unlock the gate to immortality
But beware the dragons, they will guard their sacred lands
I will cross the seas
And ride across the plains
Fly over mountains
To find the secret keys and magic
To unlock the gate
Somehow, somewhere, I will live forever
Maybe someday, I'll get there
I will find my way
Take me far away!
To the Highlands of the elder dragon

To the magic kingdom of the elder dragon!
I'll find my way
In a cold dark empty cavern, I found an elder scroll
It revealed the location of the keys
One was hidden in the ruins of the dwarves
And one was buried in the twilight forge
But where, where was the last key?
Now, what shall I do?
Hope is lost, I will never find
The last key to the secret dragon realm
But I will not give up
And I know my fate is out there, somewhere
I rode so far and wide, across the lands and plains
To seal my fate and find the three keys
Two were right where the scroll told me to search
But the third key was still, to be found!
Now, I am old and weak, I have searched all my life
But now I realise my time was wasted
This is my last breath
And I never found the third key
But what is that, a light?
My eternal life is there
The elder dragon is here
The years passed, kings and queens came and went
And empires flourished as well as crumbled
But the legend of the Highlands of the elder dragon remained a mystery

E uma estava enterrada na forja do crepúsculo
Mas onde, onde estava a última chave?
Agora, o que eu vou fazer?
A esperança se foi, eu nunca vou encontrar
A última chave do reino secreto dos dragões
Mas eu não vou desistir
E eu sei que meu destino está lá fora, em algum lugar
Eu viajei tão longe e amplamente, por terras e planícies
Para selar meu destino e encontrar as três chaves
Duas estavam bem onde o pergaminho me disse para procurar
Mas a terceira chave ainda estava, por ser encontrada!
Agora, eu sou velho e fraco, eu procurei a vida toda
Mas agora percebo que meu tempo foi desperdiçado
Este é meu último suspiro
E eu nunca encontrei a terceira chave
Mas o que é isso, uma luz?
Minha vida eterna está ali
O dragão ancião está aqui
Os anos passaram, reis e rainhas vieram e foram
E impérios floresceram assim como ruíram
Mas a lenda das Terras Altas do dragão ancião permaneceu um mistério
