Self-betrayal

Ashamed by the fact that we`re all in this together.
Waiting for the good that never comes.
Stand up for the cause in any kind of weather.
Shamefully we`re falling one by one.

This is just a practice for hell, Where you will burn and we will shine.

We take pride in generosity.
Unselfishly sharing our pain.
We see beauty in monstrocity.
leaving you out in the rain.

Pounding at the walls, to get anyones attention.
Rotting away in this hell.
So many dreams I never dared to even mention.
Stuck in my holding cell.
