Plumes of haze absorbing the Sun
Through the marshland there's one on
The run
Ragged cloth, his eyes full of fright
Hieng right into the night

Dragged stone alongside his way
And then darkness leads him astray
A silhouette catching his eye
Setting apart from the sky

A howling, gruelling sorrow
Something's here to follow
In dewer's hollow

Bloodcurdling, panic sets in
Gleaming red where eyes should've been
Weak-kneed, deeper down the remains
(Little) does he know his effort's in vain

Tremblind, the hands hold him down
A flashing dagger, a hint of a frown
Rapid heartbeat, life fades away
As the hound is approaching his prey

Trapped in the moonlands, in this
Desperate course
Gotta choose between the blade
And those gaping jaws

Heedless, a second's enough
Lunging, sudden and gruff
Brute force, it's quelshing
Bones break in two
The artery last to bite through
