Obscure faces chase my shadow
Showing me what I may become
Crawling through the tunnels of lies
My shame had become my crown

And the saints high up in heaven
Won't strangle this snake in me
And the itch deep in my blood
Is the seed for something empty
With no sense for forgiveness
All the feelings start to fade
Cloaking my self deep inside me
I devour this existence

Open my wounds my best friend
For the rats to feast on them
Crash my skull against your smile
For the flies to spit their eggs

Fallen from the tower of cards
I am so sick of your mendacity
Looting all sense from my grasp
Making all things crash beside me
Hungry void calls my name
Showing me what I had become
Walking through the halls of lies
My pain had become my bride

There's still something hungry in me
There's still a snake in my guts
Eating through this wracked body
Killing every peace inside of me
