A Life Of Good Karma

I've always wondered if there is more weight that my back could bear
And i could use a little help now, but it seems you just don't care
If i live a life of good karma, why does this shit happen to me?
The question's still unanswered, i just can't seem to see

All i say' that i'm grateful to you for opening up my eyes
I know i should be careful choosing who to trust
Life's a give and take, i must read between the lines
When i get nothing back, i should stop, stop and think

So now i've figured out that instead of wasting precious time
Holding onto ill relationships, i should just back out
What i need the least is a selfish monkey like you on my back
Yeah, i got my problems, but i can settle them without your help

Trust is hard to earn but can be lost in a blink of an eye
