What's The Point

What's the point of taking a risk?
It's just one more failure to add to my list
The longer I sit, the more that I weigh
And time goes by
What's the point of leaving my place?
I don't like my body, I won't show my face
The longer I wait, the more weight I gain
And so I cry

What's the point if there's nothing new?
A different perspective, the same point of view
And we carry on like nothing has changed
But something's wrong that I can't explain

So what's the point of getting better?
What's the point of love and anger?

What's the point of clenching my fist?
I don't want my family to see me like this
In the hat that I wear 'cause I'm losing my hair
I'm losing time
What's the point of making new friends
I don't call the old ones, I stopped making plans
How long will I wait till I can't relate?
And everyone hates me and I feel the same

What's the point if there's nothing new?
