Broken Broomstick

Hear it calling
I'm so scared of falling
Will I ever fly again?
I've been bawling
Tears fall in my cauldron
Only want my heart to mend

I miss floating under the Moon
Ghostly gliding over the tombs
It gets draining being a mourner
Haven't felt the wind in my hair
Haven't spent a minute up there
Looking out the window from the corner

How can you fly with a broken broomstick?
I used to soar through the air
Fabulous, free and apparently foolish
Thinking that life would be fair

I've been haunted
The sky is all I've wanted
Will I ever love again?
Heavy grounded
Feels like I'm surrounded
Burdened by the hell I'm in
