I was born in the wind
No form, no ground
Into the sea, I went
Where names unravel

Open sky within
Roots adrift
I’m a leaf with no end
In the mouth of the foam

I wept seeds on ancient moss
Heard stars in the body of the river
Returned faceless

All in me is
Silence that dances

Into what came before sound
