This is the story of the Mister Dragon!

In the shadows of Nogard mountains high
Lives a dragon with a gentle heart and kind eyes
By day he walks among the village folk
Wearing human skin, sharing stories and jokes
He sits in taverns, laughs until the morning light
Helps build their houses, keeps their fires burning bright
They call him Brother, never guess the truth he hides
A dragon among men, with wings he cannot fly

And when the wine flows free under the stars above
He whispers who he is, but they just smile with love

Oh, Mister Dragon, the one they all adore
Protector of the village, the kind heart they ignore
Mister Dragon, flying high but never free
Loved by many, but always alone is he
Mister Dragon!

Children gather 'round the old stone fountain square
He tells them tales of dragons guarding castles fair
They dream of mighty wings and fires that protect
Never knowing the storyteller is one of them
He guides the herds, he digs the wells so deep
Carries food to those who hunger while they sleep
A brother to the people, a stranger to his kind
The only dragon who chose to leave the sky behind

But every night the laughter fades into the dark
He returns to caverns cold and treasure marked

Hidden behind the bookshelves lies the secret door
To golden halls where ancient dragons snore
In his true form he rests beneath the mountain stone
But even surrounded by riches, he feels alone

Oh, Mister Dragon, they call him with a smile
Mister Dragon, he walks another mile
Mister Dragon, a guardian in disguise
Mister Dragon, with lonely dragon eyes

And so the kindest dragon returns to the night
Loved by the village, yet hidden from the light
A dragon among men, forever in between
The Mister of Nogard, in silence, unseen
