O traveling wind,
Wither you come and wither you go?
To follow thee so I long…
O journeying wind,
Take me to see wonders in the mystical East
Take me o'er the leagues of the Western sea
Lull me with thine Southern mountain songs
Speed me to the Northern fjords
And there shall I dwell…
Thou rovering wind this secret ye hold:
Freedom is won as roads go ever on…
