Forget Me Not

Keep all those memories, the scents and flavours - preserve me in you.
Open your eyes, look out the window, at the mire where we used to play.
Remember that every night is followed by another day.
And if you're blue, look at yourself in the mirror - you will see me there too.
Forget me not - all the tears I have shed, the mistakes I have made...
Remember them always, for they are yours too.
And now, that I'm no longer with you,
