I Walk Alone

So I guess when it rains it pours
the storm's rolled in again, over me
To see how low I'd go, I kept on living
These conditions till it'd end.

I wonder what I'll find,
I don't have to die to know,
that Heaven and hell are here below my toes
and all the while, I walk alone

All my life I've been a joke
to the ones that I hold close but
Someday, they will know

Another day goes by and I still go my eyes closed
so I'm blind to words of the critic
All I see are dreams of mine played and written
like the stories in my mind.

I stand behind this solid coat
that shows what's copper to my gold
as I face, the 20 years behind me.

All my life I've been embraced
by dark deceivers in my way
I've felt the long despair
to receive a kiss of care and I'm done!
I've done this for too long
I am done, and I'd rather make it alone
