Mermaid Melody

I see them walking without hesitation towards her
A song that wakes up those feelings that never existed
Just an illusion to calm an empty soul

And this is the emptiness from which poets live
From that feed those who have nothing

It's in this void that humanity drowns
For whom the song is an invitation to the abyss

But for me, it's just a sad song
Which reminds me of Death
And how much I miss her
