EMPTY SPACE

I looked up to the burning sky
I never bothered to ask when I get to breathe
And so I dream of an ocean on the the other side
But I waste all the reverie
I can’t seem to find the stars tonight

I feel the rhythm of a churning mind

I tore at the seams, I swore my belief in that waking dream
And I heard it calling out from in between
