Midnight Thoughts

I live in a prison, and I don't know how to get out
I am always in the right place but the wrong time
With the head on the moon, but always with the foot on the road
And I follow in front, but I don't know where to

Questions without answers, necessity and wish
Relive the past or think in the future?
Sometimes, when one door closes, another opens
But we were so sad that the door is closed, we don't see a door that is opened

Sometimes we need a step back to take two steps forward
We can not let life pass through our eyes
In these cold days I remember everything that I lived as if it had happened last night
It is midnight and the silence hanging in the air

Through deserted streets my thoughts go out to look at my destination, which is hidden somewhere
Written in some invisible wall
Everyday I go to sleep thinking that everything is lost
But always wake with the certainty that I can write a new ending
