Anguish takes form

Of burial mounds
A sickening facade
Moulding the ghastly breeze

Patterns sewn by murky hands
Shape fleshlike structures
Invigorate

Where blindings swarms
Of oblivion arise
Splintered are the wails of the dead

Like tendons cold
The unearthed twines connect
Reach out to the debris of denial

As I gaze into the shattered mirror
Its fragments like cobwebs of ice
Stab me with visions disfigured
Carry my fate on death-lament winds
Spirits cold as desert nights host my journey
My twilight requiem through the spider silk gates

Surreal tombs in lunar amber swallow me deeper
Into the golden mosaic of unfathomed dreams
I hear the murmurs of the gods frostfallen
Resonate in utter darkness
I bathe in the velvet lava from the heavens
Watch my body melt into the dusk's ethereal labyrinths

The graves yawn voracious
Blind to the sunlight rays
Sculpted from the shadows
Of a myriad of the doomed
The black deluge of gloom

Pain scintillates
With excretions sublime
In brutal disarray

Out of the boundaries
Of the vermin clasp
Pureness regained
Tracing the yarn of tears
