In my mind I still feel twenty-two
No surprise I got growing up to do
But for now think I like my room with my things scattered round

Just a grown-ass kid with the same big dreams that I had back then
Still wakin' up late past ten AM
I brush my teeth then I hit my spliff
Momma tellin' me: Boy better get a grip
Like half of your friends got a wife and kids
So focused on my career
That I'm scared to fall in love, gotta face my fears
Keep tellin' myself I don't got time to give
To somebody else when they get near, yeah

But that's not true, call my own bluff
I spend plenty of days playin' video games
And goin' out at night to get drunk (ay)
Maybe I don't wanna be tied down
Or maybe don't wanna try too much
Got these skeletons in my closet
Dirty laundry pilin' up
